Art Interiors Festival of Smalls is now in full swing. It's Thanksgiving week in The U.S. and Black Friday sales are happening (in Canada also) so I thought I'd share just a few of my favorites from the Festival. 

Seriously there are so many wonderful pieces of art on offer, it was very hard to pick favorites. I'll definitely have to do another post or two. Most of the past week has been spent organizing for our 3 artists studio sale. This is my first studio sale and it's not even taking place in my studio. I'm very grateful to Lynn and Beth for letting me join them. Our fine art studio clearance sale equals great deals for you.

I've got everything packed and ready to go for our set up tomorrow. I will have 59 (I counted!) original paintings in acrylic on stretched canvas in an assortment of sizes. 41 pieces of art, matted and ready for framing, paintings on panel, and an assortment of small framed work and 'oddments' , all priced to sell. And that's just what I'll have. Lynn and Beth have lots available as well.

Art Interiors festival of smalls runs November 9 to December 24 2013. Mon-Sat 10-5 and Sunday 12-5. There`s an opening reception Saturday morning. Join the gallery for coffee and cupcakes. You can also shop online here.

Art Interiors 19th Annual Festival of Smalls Sneak Peek.

I've been participating in Art Interiors Annual Festival of Smalls for many years now, and no matter how prepared I think I am, it always catches me a little off guard. I spent almost the entire weekend working on painting small works for this very busy show.

Lisa requested that I do up a bunch of my mini birches as they always sell out. I really get into the groove working on these little ones. They're a lot of fun to paint.

This year I wanted to challenge myself and do something fresh and new for the show, so I painted up a few 'signs' These take so much time and patience to paint. Even though they're small at 6x6 each, there's plenty of detail. Especially the neon letters.

I'll post images of the finished paintings and the show details soon. They'll be available for purchase at Art Interiors and on their online store if you can't get to the gallery in person.

Art Interiors 18th Annual Festival of Smalls.

It's that time of year again. Yay!! Art Interiors 18th Annual festival of Smalls begins this Saturday November 12. If you're in Toronto and can see the show in person I urge you to go early. There are crowds. 

It's a great place to see and purchase small works done by Art Interiors artists for a great price. All works for the show are $55.-$250. Can't make it in to the gallery? West Elm, Style at Home Event.

Last night I attended the West Elm, Style at Home (invitation only) shopping event. It was jam packed with shoppers enjoying excellent nibbles, festive cocktails, and 20% off their purchases.

I finally got to meet (in person) Samantha Pynn (celebrity designer and contributing design editor, Style at Home Magazine) and Margot Austin senior design editor, Style at Home Magazine). Thanks so much for chatting with me ladies.

The store was beautifully decorated for the holidays and a DJ was playing tunes to set the mood. Bells would ring every time there was a sale. All the staff were so helpful-it was one great big party.

Love these dishes, in fact I love just about everything in the store. Unfortunately when I finally made up my mind about my purchase, the lines to pay were so long, I couldn't wait. I had another event that I had to go to another event, but not to worry, I was given a coupon for 20% off my next purchase. Thanks West Elm!!!
