"Lonely Street" detail

As promised, here is one of the new paintings I managed to finish up this week. As you can see I've really been inspired by living downtown. I've taken many walks with my camera and have taken dozens and dozens of photos. I have used them as inspiration and reference but it's my personal interpretation of the scene that gets onto my canvas rather than a photographic replication. Yes it's moody and maybe a little dark. I'm still obsessing with neutrals these days. Shades of grey and raw umber, black and white. Personally, I think this painting would look great framed in a black floating frame and hanging in a downtown loft or office. Interested in purchasing? Just drop me an email.
