Art in Las Vegas.

The weather has turned so cold and icy here that I'm dreaming of warm climates.

In the desert heat of Las Vegas there's a very cool place called Crystals. It's a 500,000 sq. ft. shopping mall and entertainment destination.

Once you enter you'll find very high end designer stores, nightclubs, gourmet dining and art, lots of art. Crystals was designed by Daniel Libeskind (also did the ROM Crystal addition here in Toronto)

This is Glacia.

Glacia is a set of self-sculpting ice columns that rise and melt each day.

Glacia is one of five water features in Crystals designed by Wet, the design firm that also created the fountains of the Bellagio and the volcano at the Mirage. Very cool.
