Inner Works lives on. A few years ago I took part in an altered book collaboration with mixed media artists Supria Karmakar, Roxanne Evans-Stout, Jill Zaheer, Veronica Funk and Seth Apter. Our group and blog is called Inner Works and you can read all about that adventure here and here.
Seth Apter's book in the collaborative was 'Distressed Elements' and is now on display at the Gallery Link in Ellenville, New York as part of Seth's solo exhibition. This exhibition is being held in conjunction with the release of Seth's new book 'The Pulse of Mixed Media : Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed. Congratulations Seth.
Here are some images of my mixed media pages in Seth's book 'Distressed Elements' I really enjoyed working with this theme and got to use many wonderful old distressed elements from my collection of found items, and lot's of texture.
