We made the trip to Bayfield Ontario this past Sunday to take new paintings to the gallery that carries my work. Marten Arts is located in the picturesque village of Bayfield on the shores of Lake Huron. It was a cooler than normal day but the sun was brilliant and I couldn't resist going down to the water's edge to take a few shots. The weather kept some cottage goers away this time but on a typical weekend the little village is extremely popular with shops, galleries and restaurants packed with people. For me, even 10 minutes gazing at the view and smelling the fresh air was worth the 6 hour return drive from Toronto.
